    Prices changing at Loch March

As of August 23, 2010, Loch March will be introducing new rates! They will include pricing for Peak, Non-peak and Twilight rates along with senior and junior rates. Booking a tee time will change to 5-7 days (weekdays / weekends)

Loch March also just launched their new website today at www.lochmarch.com. Check us out.

Watch for the pricing changes on the website...coming soon!!

Will there be new/different options for the pass booklets to go along with the new pricing?

I like to new look of the website BTW.

Finally introducing twilight fees! With these new non-peak prices I will be going to Loch March more often.
I also like that they have the condition bar on the side of the website that says the fairways were top dressed and conditions will be normal as of August 19th.

All current passbooklet holders will be contacted prior to the posting of the prices to explain the new changes.

Although the price of the booklets will not change, there is extra value (above the already great price of $58 per pass on the 18 hole round) that will apply to them.

I will be inclined to go more often, with different rates for different times. I didn't like the one price all the time policy.

This is a welcome change. Big fan of the course, but the price was prohibative for me. Hopefully I'll be able to get out there a couple times per year now.

If you wanted to sell a few corporate memberships to Corporate Golf, I'd be an even bigger fan of your policy changes... Just sayin'

And they say the recession is over It's about time the prices reflected the economy They will probably increase their turnout by 30%

Definetley better for prices to play at Loch March. Unless you are a single or a twosome....you will almost never finish your round with a 4pm twilight start time. We barely finished the other day starting at 4pm and we were in carts, albeit we were a foursome.

Very nice, too bad the best twilight days of 2010 are in our rear-view mirror. Still a little bit of time to get a few 4-pm rounds in before dark though.

well hopefully those twilight rates will be in effect next year. the 2-4 rate is still decent and a step in the right direction. I assume those prices are exclusive of GST?

I always love Playing at Loch March. It doesn't much love me, however. For me, it's never a great round at Loch March but often still it's a Great Day.

The new pricing was playing havoc with the cart girls as after our group there was no one teeing off for 2 hours because of the twilight rates. So one followed us around and likely affected my play...

I started decently, +1, +1, Par, Par, Par then fell completely apart and didn't even break 100.

Just the same, I think I'll buy my buddy a four-pass for xmas and test his friendship.

I can't wait to try the new tee box on #2 next year. It's an extra 30 yards back from the current gold tee box. Ouch!

Jeebus! Ouch is right. That shot is already a killer as is. Will this make #2 the longest par 3 at LM from the gold tees?

Yes. The scorecard actually says 230 but that deck doesn't currently exist.

Are they backfilling the water behind the current tee-box?

No, but the back of the tee box will be right up against the water's edge.

The started to build the base in August IIRC and at first I thought it was just a dirt dumping mound but then it started to look like a tee box so I asked the starters and sure enough that is the plan.

It's a good thing there isn't a lot of trouble (other than that damn front bunker) on that hole because firing a 4W at that green through the opening in the trees over the blue/white tees is going to be fun.

Thought some would be interested to know that Costco is selling $100 (2 x $50) gift certificates to LM for $80 (tax in).

If there are no restrictions (cross fingers and toes), by my calc it works out to $44 per round taxes in. That's like half price the weekend morning rate!
