Cape Cod

Hey everyone looking for any advice on lodging or courses, have done my own research (have a short list) but I'm looking for first hand experiences!!!! Good/bad... things to check out/ or definately avoid. Never been down that neck of the woods but am thinking Cape Cod trip just after Thanksgiving/ the US Columbus Day something in the five day range, maybe one down, or one back, 3-4 there, should be quiet, much cheaper, and the temp is nice due to Jet Stream. Hear there are great deals to be had at fabulous facilities So I thought I'd see what the good Old Ottawa Golf Forumn had to say

Red tail about 40 min nw of Boston

awesome course

I would stay in Plymouth - nice little town on the coast just south of Boston

spend a day in Boston as well in the downtown area

go for some Italian food in the north end

I was there many years ago but I play Hyannis golf. Nice little course. Also there is a course in Barnstable which is down the road.
make sure to get the chowder( i know its cliche but is is outstanding)

I stayed in East Sandwich at the end of June. I never golfed, but the scenery was outstanding. I rented a cottage on the ocean and I can offer advice for things to see and do, but not golf. The travel time to Easy Sandwich from Orleans was 8.5 hours with a delay going through Boston.
