Push Carts - The Fastest Way to Shave Strokes

They even did a study, and everything! I know what my excuse for playing so poorly is now

Oh, and apparently there's some health benefits associated with it too.

Study supports argument that golf is a sport
What's the arguement that golf isn't a sport? If baseball is a sport, then golf is a sport.

I recently switched to a push cart and I must say I am a lot more fresh near the end of the round then I was carrying.

Yea I saw a thread earlier this season about push carts having very similar benefits as carrying so I switched over immediately. It's so much easier, I love it, and I'm not tired at the end!

Its not that surprising. You're still moving the same amount of mass the same distance - or more, considering cart bags tend to be heavier and better equipped and the weight of the cart itself. The difference is you're relying more on your stronger leg muscles to do the moving, instead of fatiguing all the crucial muscles of your core used while swinging.

I may just have to make the switch...

With a push cart you actually end up walking a little more than if you carry but that is offset by not having to repeatedly pick up/put down the bag.

I definitely find using a push cart less tiring than carrying, but I'll keep carrying until the back tells me to stop.
Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

I find myself snagging my wife's push cart on a more regular basis lately.
BIG difference when its hot!! I don't think twice about throwing in a few extra water bottles or clothing either.
