    Scotty Cameron Custom Shop

I was just looking for varied opinions on the Custom Shop from true Scotty die hards. I was thinking of sending it in around Christmas time as a gift to myself but I am split:

On one hand, I would love to do something really unique to my putter - maybe some lime green, custom stamps or alignment aid (no initials though), re-shaft it back to the original (bought it 2nd hand and had to put a plug in it ), a cool headcover, etc...

On the other hand, I really like the classic look of the Studio Select (minus the aftermarket chop job on the shaft).

    Maybe I need 2 Scotties

So, what is everyone else's thoughts?

I would say go ahead and customize it. You can always send it back in later if you want it back to the original specs.

    2001 Studio Design 1

    Hi,

I've got a 2001 Studio Design 1 that I've purchase on this forum, it's a little bit banged up has the previous owner didn't have a head cover, now it has one.

I'm totally in love with this putter; I've never putted so well since I don't know how long? I'm a right handed golfer but I've started putting left handed last year and it as improved my putting quite a lot, especially with this baby.

Anyway I want to send my Scotty to the spa after this season is over, I can wait to have it back in mint condition! A putter head with no dings, a new grip, shaft, custom color paint fill (I'm thinking Red, orange and Yellow?) Hey maybe my putting will improve again..... Or like you guys said I may not want to play with it anymore?

    Ross

You only need to ship them the head. They replace the shaft anyway and it's cheeper to ship just the head.

Now is a good time if you can send it into the custom shop as they just released some pretty awesome new things that you can get on your putter. The covers are pretty sweet too.
