.335 driver shaft a little big for Driver Head

I've got a Nakashima High loft ladies driver head and I'm fitting it with a .335 tip which I thought was really bang on. Now I find that the .335 tip is just a little large for this driver head. I've cleaned the head out well - and really don't want to bore the Nak hosel. I really can't figure this one out. Anybody run across a hosel in a driver that a .335 does not fit. Especially in a Nak head ? Go figure. I don't want to shave done the .335 tip - and don't want to chew anything out of the hosel. I've check my measurements and tipping etc. I'm out of ideas.

    -thanks all-

Have you measured the shaft/hosel in question with calipers?

Every now and then I come across either a head that has an undersized hosel or a shaft that is slightly oversized.

For a graphite shaft just sand down the tip until it fits. Similarly you can enlarge the hosel slightly with sandpaper (it's a tedious process) until it fits.
Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

thanks JV - two things I need for my shop - calipers and a good measuring device for shaft tips. Basically I've got a piece of .335 and .350 tip. Good inventments as mentioned.

You can also try inserting it with epoxy. Sometimes it will slide right in.
