Came ever so close to the elusive 79! My 79th shot at Cartier this afternoon on 18 hit the pin after a bounce and rolled to 10 feet. Gahh!!

Two putted for a cool 81

Brought my 'cap down to 17!

Well done! Shame about the flag hit - a jar shot from the fairway would have been a nice exclamation point of breaking 80!

nice score, i find it easier to break 80 when i dont look at the scorecard. dont add up anything until the end. try it next time.

It's hard to do that when up until last year you were playing in the mid 90s!

After the first four holes I was 2 under par, even after missing the 8 foot eagle putt on #2! I tightened up and started counting fairways, greens and putts a little more carefully

80 is going to be a tough number to beat.

HAHA...did the exact same thing at The Marshes #13 about a month ago. 9 iron from 160 looked like it was going right in the jar....hit about a foot up on the flagstick and ricocheted to about 20 ft left....managed a 3 putt for bogie.....how could something so beautiful turn so ugly that fast!!!

That's funny! Mine was also a 160yd 9 iron from the right hand sloped side of the fairway.

Good job knocking it stiff at Marshes! One day we'll get lucky I guess
