Proud new SC owner
Purchased a used Scotty from a member here. Its being shipped as we speak!!..I almost feel like a child is on the way....do I hand out cigars? Is there a secret handshake for owners? My wife is mad cause she has to sleep on the floor The putter took her spot.
All joking aside...I may want to regrip it. Is there a Bigger grip available? and would someone know where to get it? Obviously I need some guidance from a Master Owner.Mark K

Welcome aboard. Tell your wife to get used to the couch as I am sure there are going to be more Cameron putters finding their way to your home sooner or later.
As far as a grip goes, that is all personal. If it is going to be a gamer then it really doesn't matter what is on it. Tiger still uses a Ping grip on his Cameron GSS NP2.

Welcome to the club it's a great one, and one that a lot of people don't understand if they have never tried a scotty. Are you looking to put a SC grip on it?

Yes I was hoping to put an SC grip on it.It is a gamer but Im kinda anal about the matching head covers and grips to the brand of club.

You only get out of something what you put into it

You could always send it into the shop and have them put an oversized grip on it. If you go to Scottycameron.com and check out their custom shop you can see all the options for grips and head covers they can provide. So you could match your current head cover with a grip they offer or you can find a limited release head cover, get the grip to match and then enjoy the hunt to try and get one.

Golf pride makes a tour velvet grip in midsize. I installed it on my Yes! putter and it is near identical to Scotty's grips...they even come in red or black. Golfworks sell them for about 6-7 bills. I expect Golf Pride actually manufacture Scotty's grips. I have the original grip on my new Scotty and find the two to be indistinguishable.

tons of awesome grips out there you just need to try them.
to purchase them you could try the cameron collector (be warned joining that forum could become costly)
if you really like the putter and want something super cool you could try gripmaster or bestgrips for a exotic/leather grips
here is the one that came with my newest scotty, yes i know its pink but still kinda cool

I'm going to have to bite the bullet. I had one put away at Golftown 2.0 slant. Drove to the City with the cash - and they sold it. I was very disappointed. Left a bad taste in my mouth so I'm looking for a used one. But - the urge continues I may have to try GT again. Man was I mad.

I have a Scotty Cameron Custom Shop Midsize grip for sale if you are interested. I went back to a PING grip, but preserved the old one. It's in great shape.
