Scratch on Driver head- how to fix?
Ok,
so here is my story:
I have a Cobra L4V that I am keeping around as a back up driver, and currently using while I make a trade. The first round this year, I somehow managed to trip over a tee box while waiting to tee off, and caught the top of the club at the face with one of my champ stinger cleats.
The result is that I have a swirlly scratch mark (no structural damage just cosmetic) that I would like to fix if possible. I have no idea if this can be sanded and refinished and if so what products one would use to do such a thing.
Any ideas?

I could be way off on this, but if it's a surface scratch I would assume that using a scratch remover that you would use for your car would be fine?

Yep, the car scratch remover is very good at scuffs/scratches that don't go too deep.
Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

Wishon says cigar ashes. Depends on how deep the scratch is and if you have to use some kind of filler to fill it.

Just make sure the cigar is out before applying it to the head

Actually cigar ashes work as a filler and a mild abrasive. It's used a lot in the repair of the inside of pipes. It dries hard. One could try the cigar ash - then follow with a touch of car polish. Another produce you may want to try is Simichrome. This is a very fine abrasive used on plastics. Very - very fine abrasive. I've used it on the scuff marks on heads a lot. Especially hybrid and 5 wood heads.
