Temporary Green Scoring
Temporary Green Scoring, how does this work.
Two greens were Temps due to maintenance on the course, all they did was stick a flag in the ground 35 yards in front of the green.
How do you score these two holes for the purpose of handicap, you sure can't putt them??

You enter a score of par + any handicap strokes you would have received for those holes.
Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

Thanks, from the handicap manual (RCGA) this is my understanding as well.

Just to be clear, for a hole with a temporary green, no matter what you shoot, for handicap purposes, you disregard the actual score and enter par plus any handicap strokes if it's a stroke hole.
For me, last night, I doubled the stupid thing, but it wasn't a stroke hole, so for HC purposes I put in a par. Correct?
For my playing partner, he actually birdied it naturally, but it was a stroke hole, so he has to enter a bogie. Correct?
