    Malone

    Im plannig to go to Malone to squeeze a few september weekdays rounds in Malone.Anyone knows a place to stay for 2 nights at an affordable price.Thanks!...

    Thanks.We gonna stay at the 4 seasons where there's a good deal($285.00 canadian for 3 rounds and 2 stay with breakfast). .....chip

    Passeport to Malone

    Do we need our passeport to Malone or birth certificate is ok?I wish cause I don't have a passeport right now......chip(in the cup)

    ..chip - My wife and I went to Lake Placid last week and U.S. Customs asked for ID. We had our passports but I would think a driver's license would also be OK. I assume they want something with your photo on it. They also quickly checked our trunk. Also. we were stopped by a U.S. Border Patrol checkpoint on the highway between Malone and Saranac Lake.

    BTW - I also managed to get in a round at the 'Mountain Course' at the Lake Placid Resort on Thursday- beautiful layout! It was $30 U.S. walking it.

    You need your birth certificate and Drivers license. DO NOT show up at the border with just your drivers license, sometimes they let you through, sometimes they dont. They basically need sometime that shows you are a Canadian citizen (passport, birth cert or baptismal certificate if you are from Quebec).
