60 degree wedges
Hi Ottawagolf,
I'm really looking to get a 60 degree wedge, I feel as though it would be perfect for around the green and make it nice and easy to put it close to the hole. I have a question though, would a 60 degree wedge also be able to perform in the sand ? Anyone experience this or actually do it? Opinions welcome also.

I use my 60 in the sand 90% of the time. Works very well.

A lot depends on the type of sand, firm or fluffy, and the amount of bounce on the wedge.
I tend to use my 60* only in firm sand because it has low bounce and digs too much in soft sand. Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

Phil M. holed a shot earlier this week with his 60 deg. from a greenside bunker at a skins competition.
