Personal worst
What's your worst round this year during handicapping season (April 15 -Oct 31). For me, i shot 95 twice (Loch March and Meadows from back tees).
You only get out of something what you put into it

I've had a 98 and two 94's. Handicap went up to 15.3
from 12. Now back down to 13.9.

Ugh, I'll have to check, been a bad start to the season.
Had a 99 at Champlain one day and my handicap has been climbing all season. Started at 13.1 and maxed out at 17.1 last week. An 83 at Nation has me back down to 16.6 and I'm hoping to have it close to last year's finishing number by month's end.Even I've never heard of me

103 at Le Sorcier I think, I just didn't want to play because the weather was horrid and I just wasn't playing well.
I don't ever want to be in the 100's again, I mean I have to play REALLY bad to get there considering my game. If I ever do, it is most definitely just mental.

Worst: 108
I typically shoot low 90s with the odd round that sneaks into the 80s. It was just an awful day. Nothing was working.Last edited by Husband; 06-07-2010 at 09:06 PM.

I'm amazed my worst this year is 88 or 89, but they've seemed so much worse

Thanks, Paul. The body is creakier, but the spirit is unbowed. More to the point, I am keeping the ball in play a lot better than I used to. Two months in the Gulf Shores of Alabama on some tight courses cured me of my wandering ways.

This year? I had a nasty blow-up round on Greensmere Legacy (tip: If you're going to have a blow-up round, don't do it on that course) for a cool 112
Just completely came out of my swing. No clue where the ball was going, besides into the deep dark forests that line the fairways...
Thankfully I've got the monkey off my back and posted a couple of sub-100 rounds this week. Just a matter of time before my handicap starts moving in the right direction again (though a pair of 85's I shot back to back last year are about to evaporate
)

I shot 105 down in Myrtle this spring which was bookended with 4 rounds in the 80's.
I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

104, yes 104, and I have done it 3 times, I keep losing my swing entirely in the last 5 holes. Can't seem to hit anything. Brutal. And the putter has gone straight to hell.
Best has been 88 and I putted the lights out, gives me something to shoot for.
Mainly in the 90's this year.Obviously you're not a golfer.
