Colin Orr

I have to give props to Colin Orr who I've been working with at the Falcon Ridge golf course. I've had 4/6 lessons so far, the latest being a video tape session in stunning HD. Colin was recommended to me by a few members on here. I would highly recommend him as well.

Colin is very knowledgable and transfers that knowledge to me in a very simple way, without bombarding me with a mountain of information. He gives me a couple of things to think about every lesson (half hour), and then it's my job to go out on the practice range and work on what he taught me.

Results are outstanding so far. I'm not guessing at set up and hoping for a good result. I'm confident at set up, and know exactly what I expect the ball to do.

I still hit the occasional bad shot from time to time, but at least now I know 'why' I hit those bad shots. Before the lessons, I was simply guessing what I must have done wrong.

Handicap has gone down 7 strokes in two months. Nuff said!

I have an inconsistent driver, and yesterday Colin studied my swing (driver) on video and nailed my problem instantly. My body was swaying forward on my downswing which resulted in a lot of pushed or hooked shots when the timing of my release was off. After some practice, i am starting to 'get it', and ingrain it into my muscle memory. If my driver becomes consistent, single digit h.c. here i come!
