    Groove sharpening

Has anyone had any success using "grove sharpeners" to tune their wedges. Or is it all a bunch of nonsence?

I have a number of old Vokey wedges that I would be interested in trying it on if it might work.

    RESCORING TOOL

Repair worn V-groove scoring lines quickly and easily with this special tool and regain spin. Hard carbide tip does a neat job. Note: Rechroming necessary after use on plated heads to prevent rust from forming.

I have the tool. You can borrow it if you'd like. I do not have the IRON RESCORING NEST though therefore you'll have to be patient and careful as the tool can slip out of the scoring lines.

I like it too....after 5 years of using the same wedges I used it....it was biting the ball so well that it peeled some of the cover off the balls at the driving range. It does both V and U grooves.

I got one of these http://www.spingolfer.com/Groove-Restoring-Tool-Groove-Sharpener_p_27.html.

Really like it, I do my grooves (wedges) every time I take the clubs inside for full cleanup. was cheaper than the eBay ones
