    Ty Tryon...

So what did you guys think of Ty Tryon's first event? I guess things can't be that bad when he did make it to the weekend!!

I think this guy does have some great skills and should in time do very well with the big boys of golf.

Also...way to go Big John Daly. Always amazes me he has such a great short game.:

    Anyone see Mike Weir???

I believe Ty's got game, but I think it might be a similar story line to Justin Rose. It will take him some time to get into the "swing" of things.

Amazing finish for John Daly, tied for 4th, that's good to see.

Didn't see any TV coverage of Mike Weir. That's not good to see. Mike was looking good at the beginning but ran out of steam.

I agree it was nice to see Big John play well again. Hopefully tht will continue for him.

As for Mikey, until he gets a swoosh or a new logo on his hat he will be limited to minimal TV time. The big US networks do not get advertising $$ from Bell.
I did enjoy seeing Mikey in the Taylor Made commercial.
Then again, anything beats having to watch that Subway commercial - "He's Clay, Clay Henry..."
