I'm guessing Geoff is one skinny dude because he spends all his coin on clubs.

Clubs aren't expensive In my pro shop , they sell Maruman and Katana clubs , a driver of these brands cost like 2000 dollars.

I'm so embarrassed. How do you manage to re-tool your whole bag in the middle of winter when you haven't even hit your brand new clubs? Not sure how that came about, but if it could happen, I would be the one to do it.

Driver: Kenneth Smith Imperial Collection 420 10* w/ Merc Kevlar s-flex
5 Wood: Kenneth Smith Imperial Collection 20* w/ Merc Performance s-flex
Irons: Wood Bros Blades w/ Project X 6.0
Wedges: 52*/60* Kenneth Smith Forged w/ Rifle Spinner 6.5
    Putter: Ping Doc 12.5
    Bag: Datrek Carry Bag
    Balls: Cally HX56, Tour Straights, Hi-Spins, UR-Xs, HR-X 333s, Rev Tours

    Secret Weapon: SMT HP420 5* w/Merc Savage Competition X-flex @ 48"

I wish, it would have made the already sweet deal on the clubs from Kona Golf even sweeter. Going to try and post pics in the photo edition of what's in the bag soon. So everyone can ooh and ahh.

I have seen pics of the blades and they do look sweet. Also seen pics of the 5 wood head. But post em so we can all see those sticks, because within a week you'll have them for sale and that way we'll know what they look like

I think I'll have to rig something up to stop me from changing these. Maybe electric shock would help. If the clubs get too far from me I get zapped. That would cure my club hoing addiction for sure. I have to do something to stop this revolving door in golf bag!

Or find some wrenches you truly like and leave em alone! Or tell your wife "Honey if I buy any more golf clubs you can cut me off" (only works if married )

That won't work. During the summer the clubs are always in the trunk. And in the winter they are covered in the corner. So when I change she nevers sees it anyways, and not really interested to boot.

But as to stick with one set of tools, that is tough. There is always so many nicer and shinier tools coming out all the time. And when my wrenches get dirty and marked up I just want to change to something shiny and new. But I'm sure with the purchase of the house this spring the revolving door might just get locked up. Going to have to or it will be KD for breakfast, lunch and dinner!

You're done like Paul Martin was last night buddy The purchase of a house will take all the fun out of buying sticks. Need this, need that, etc etc. Been there and still doing that!
I guess I am just not a Club Ho like some guys are. I find something I like and stick with those clubs for 3-4 years. Other than driver swaps, I just can not find one I hit consistantly. I will be looking for a good used one next month when FGO has their big sale. Or a shaft for mine.
I'd rather put money into RRSP's so I can retire at age 53 (Or sooner the way things are going at the Ford plant I work in )

Sorry to hear about the plant. But think of how much more golf you can play (but only if you saved your pennies wisely). Never mind, you were the guy who played about 150 rounds this season were you not? But as for the house thing, I figured the club fund will diminish so I figured I might as well stock up on some sweet sticks to use as ammo in deals later in the year if needed.

Well as of right now I am ok as far as work goes, other than upcoming layoff weeks. I will have 27 years of seniority in May, Detroit said the plant would be on one shift sometime in 2007. Which mean straight days, which will not cut into my golfing time. Sad thing is about 1000 people will be out of a job, maybe permently. Young guys with mortgages and young children. That is the sad part.

The overall sad part is too many people in NA buy imports. They all need to realize that somewhere down the road when NA Auto workers lose their jobs it effects the local economies, which in turn could very well effect the company they work for. NUFF SAID!

Yes I played 150, well 148.5 last year. 165 the year before. Does my wife still love me? YEP Funny how some wives get bent out of shape about their husbands playing too much golf, mine doesn't mind at all. She says it keeps me active and happy (most of the time ) so why not go out and play? Having a membership makes it easier as you are not laying out $100 a week in green fees. Limits the courses you get to play so there is a trade off.

Keep buying those clubs Geoff, it gives us all something to read about from day to day

Glad I can entertain all of you. Might as well be good at something, but this isn't what I would've picked given a choice.

Should have told me you didn't have a replacement driver... I could have thrown one in the box with the Bailiwicks

    Nah...

I'm waiting on the fws with the shafts that i'm pretty sure are beyond my swing. Then one of them is gonna magically turn into a driver & the other into a fw wd.
