Golf trip between Ottawa and TO (Finger Lakes, NY or Belleville)

Hi all,

Need to find a place that is centrally located between Ottawa and TO for a golf trip.

Has anyone gone on a golf trip to the Finger Lakes region of NY? Seems like there are a couple of nice courses in this area. Found Bristol Harbour and Ravenwood so far that look pretty nice and not to expensive. Anyone played these tracks?

Was also thinking of Belleville area to play Black Bear Ridge and Timber Ridge but they don't seem to have stay and play packages.

Does anyone have any other ideas?

Smugglers Glen in Gan does stay and play packages. Nicest course between here and TO along the river/lake. Lots of nice courses in the Muskokas too if the Ottawa guys don't mind the destination being a bit closer to TO.

Thanks Spackler. Agreed Smuggler's is a great course but we went there last yr. Looking for somewhere new this yr. I'll have a look at Muskoka's but I'm guessing they may be too pricey for us. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Timber Ridge and Black Bear nearer Belleville are also great stops.

Thanks for the input spackler and leftlucas, I just booked a 2-day get away in mid-June to play Black Bear Ridge on day 1 and Timber Ridge on day 2. I think we'll do 2 rounds at BBR. Looking forward to it. They look like a couple of nice courses. Can't wait.
