Rory McIlroy wins Quail Hollow
That was an unbelivable round of golf on one of the toughest course on the tour.... Wow....

Agreed. He put on a show! I knew it was a matter of time for that kid. He is going to be a good one!
My name is Paul. And I'm a golfaholic.

Phil figured a 68 would be enough to win. Little did he know...
Wow, 62 on Sunday for the win on a tough course. Rory simply tore it up.I don't have an ulcer - I am just a carrier.

Rory certainly steamrolled the field with the 62.
Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

Man that was pretty to watch. That 5 iron to the par five that he stuck to about 8 feet was one of the purest looking golf swings I have ever witnessed.

Amazing play by Rory. If Angel Cabrera sunk a couple more of those shorter putts it might've made it a bit closer, besides the putting he was playing really well too. Great tournament though.

They were saying on Saturday that Cabrera had not missed a 3 footer in a year. He started missing a few on the week end. He did play very well; i think he had about 8 putts inside 10-12 feet on Sunday and missed all of them. If he made half of those putts he would have been very close.
Phil also played very well; when he made that 45 footer on the back nine i thought he was going to make a charge at it. Then he 3 putted 17 after Rory made that great putt on 18..... Probably knocked the lights out of him. But it was great to see him make the birdie on 18 and get second place by himself.Golfing only thing on my mind.......

Another thing that struck me was the many players that came out to congratulate him after the end of his round. And i gotta say the Phil and his caddy "Bones" showed a lot of class by congratulating Rory for winning the tournament.

A brilliant display , and i hope we can finally see the start of something great here. He had a few missed cuts earlier this season , and its amazing to think he almost did it again on friday. I'm glad to see a local boy doing great.
At the end of the day ... It gets dark

This was an unbelievable performance on a tough course at the right time. Unfortunately, Phil and the others couldn't do much as Rory made it look easy. Good on Rory, good for golf.
Too bad Silly, that would have been a nice sum of cash, it would have subsidized some of your golf ball bets, lol ..."Bubba-Size Your Drive"
