    Rust spots on my Circa 62

    I have some rust spots on the face of my putter. I lent it to a friend and sadly they did not take great care of it. Anyone have a suggestion how to restore the face without destroying the factory milling?

    Providing the rust is only on the surface you can use 0000 steel wool to remove it (won't harm the putter I have done this many times). Also oiling the putter will help.

    I would drop them as a friend...Friends don't let other friends scotty's rust...absolutely unacceptable.

    A little CLR and fine steel wool... If you need to re-finish it you can check out
