    r9 sleeve shaft question?

    I have a r9.
    I bought a proforce v2 shaft and a r9 straight sleeve.
Is there anything i should know about putting the 2 together?
    Has anyone done this???
    Thanks for your time??

what do you mean by straight sleeve?

also, what is the tip size of the shaft vs. the sleeve?

Not much to it assuming the two match.

The japanese FCT sleeves have multiple positions ie. L , R , NU & N. (like the on stock shaft) I order a straight through sleeve , only neutral.

    I got a .335 sleeve with a .335 tip on my v2.

I've ask some club fitters locally and they have never done a r9 sleeve reshafting.

I can't see anything going wrong except matching the sleeve with the spine of the shaft.

Do you have a graphite shaft extractor? All you need is a washer with a small diameter for the puller to push against it. Put the washer before the end screw and apply heat . It will come out easily. Here is an example of a NIke club(not exactly the same but same principle)

Just another question regarding R9 sleeves. Once a shaft is installed in the sleeve, does it add any length to the final playing length, or does the shaft insert deep enough into the sleeve that the final playing length is determined by the length of the shaft?

The shaft inserts pretty deep that any additional length would be minimal
