Weekend to End Breast Cancer Tournament
2010 Markham Weekend to End Breast Cancer Charity Golf Tournament.
This will be our 6th tournament, and through much hard work, generous cash and prize
donations from our sponsors, dedicated volunteers, we have managed to raise over $60,000
to date to sponsor walkers for the 60km Weekend To End Woman's Cancers.
It is astounding how this disease touches so many lives at one time or another. We hope to
help in our own small way to find a cure, and at the same time have a bit of fun doing it!
This year our tournament is on Monday June 14, at Sleepy Hollow Country Club in
Stouffville Ont. Price for golf and dinner is $150 per player. Our format is a 4 person
scramble with a 1pm shotgun start. We still have openings for groups as well as singles.
Our goal this year is to sell out the tournament (144 players) and to increase dramatically
our contribution to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
We would appreciate a donation of any type to help with the tournament. Whether it becommitment to play in the tournament itself anything would be greatly appreciated.
