There is actually a few good fights this weekend on Rogers Sportsnet for free.

Jones vs. Vera - Exciting fighters.
Dos Santos vs. Gonzaga - Somebody gonna get knocked out
Congo vs. Buentello - Both guys need to prove something. Espcially Congo

Yep, St. Pierre vs. Hardy and Mir vs. Carwin. I look forward to both of these. We'll see if how dominant Georges is in his weight class once again..

really wanted to see belfort VS Silva. Vitor matches hand speed and very close in skill. Would have been the best fight for Anderson in years.

Anyone remember the Vitor Belfot vs Vanderlei Silva fight in Brazil? That was as fast and furious as I've ever seen.

Fast forward 10 years, and I am still not a Mir fan.

Thats gonna be a good card , the local fights are a lot of fun.

As far as the UFC fights go ,
I believe on Sunday eve (9pm) the fights are being aired on Sportsnet for the Vera vs Jones fight card , as always, free is good , and has the possibilty of being a decent fight card.
And the GSP vs Hardy , expect GSP to take this one to the ground , Hardy is a GOOD striker and hits hard , i don't expect GSP to give him the stand up fight that he wants. GSP will make 'im tap in this one.
Mir vs Carwin , not sure about this one , the fight may be a bit more tentative than people may think as this is a huge fight for both fighters (winner meets Lesnar ... ouch!) but i think Mir has improved enough to win this one .
Also Sportsnet has been showing some of the prelim fights for free 1 hr before the PPV starts , as i said , free is good.

A couple impressive victories for the two up and comers in the UFC. Jon Jones and Junior Des Santos both may be a fight or two away from getting tittle shots in their respective divisions. Not a bad card..
