19th Tee Open Today!
Just drove by and decided to give them a shout - sure enough he said they are open, but closing times will vary for the next little while due to hand-picking of balls for the next while or next snow storm..
So tomorrow lunch I will be knocking out balls from this newly purchased Taylormade R7 Quad driver with "Max" written on the face and 20-odd gram tungsten weights to boot! Apparently this driver is rare and non-conforming because of the .860 COR. I won't use it in any USGA sanctioned events , but my buddies will see me walk 20+yards ahead for the second shot at fun events..

They must have changed their mind because when I drove by on the way to work today the sign said opening tomorrow.
Clubs are in the car though, so if they are still open on the way home I will be hitting some balls tonight. Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

Really now? I saw the sign yesterday, and it said March 17th - not that I'm complaining. It just so happens I tucked my PW and 7I in the car today. I may just have to duck out of work a little early for an 'appointment'

He said they decided to open today and will be until 6pm tonight. But tomorrow may not be open as late. Figures, I had my clubs in the car yesterday and took them out - D'oh!
This is my fav. as well, because you can walk way around and up to the left and find a spot in the grass(when that part is open of course). You can setup with a nice amount of space, unhurried, real tees, and your whole golf bag....bar cart with girl, roast beef dinner, trophies, prizes, more drinks... hehehe just dreaming of the season to come..

i split time between 19th tee, capital golf, and the hydro lines in my backyard. next time you go to 19th tee let me know and we'll hack away.
i love their short game area. you can hit as many balls as you want. You only get out of something what you put into it

Mats only at the 19th tee and likely to be that way for several weeks. Haimes is probably the same.

They were nice new mats at 19th Tee yesterday, at least all the ones I saw were. Beautiful evening out there, hitting balls as the sun goes down...
Even better, my swing hadn't deteriorated as much as I feared it might over the winter!Wannabe Golf
