Upcoming 4 Man Scrambles

I am looking for a good 4 Man scramble to enter, does anyone know of any upcoming events in the Ottawa area??

You just missed the buick scramble at the marshes. Other than that I have no idea.

You didn't miss much as the Marshes. One team posted 58 (on paper) which was -14...come on, the course was playing about 6600yds, windy and pins tucked - I will not be playing any scrambles where there are no spotters with each group. What makes this more unbelieveable is that only one player in each group was allowed to be a low handicapper - and they say golf is a gentlemans game

That's actually not unreasonable for the the Marshes.

I played in one there last year and the four of us were all about 11 handicaps and we ended up shooting 61 I think and we collectively had a bad putting day.

JVincent - I am a 5 handicap and believe me - yesterday was tough. Understand your point though - just don't know why for events like that they don't have spotters.

For an official event like the Buick, I agree. You should be able to trust everyone but.......

I've only played in charity scrambles where there's nothing on the line but pride.

I believe Smiths Falls has one in the fall. One pro per group, must provide a marker. 2-days and I think it includes skins and close to hole prizes. I think it is $500 per foursome or something like that.
