Shut out this weekend with at least 6 three putt bogies. Irons were on fire and had probably a record GIR but a cold putter killed me.

I feel your pain Steve, a cold putter can kill a great round, I had a chance for my best game ever this summer at Sorcier but missed 6/6 birdie putts from 6' or less

I was trying to play smarter golf by aiming for the center of the greens. I always ended up 20-30 feet away from flag.

Got two birds yesterday.

Funny thing about golf;

Best ball striking day I've had was a nine on Friday. 7/7 fairways and both greens on par threes ---and no birds. (Legacy front)

Yesterday was one of my worst games and I got two birds. #6 and #15 at Greensmere Premiere.

I had a fortunate birdie on Saturday - hit a shot perfectly on-line, but about 5 yards short of the green into the front-side bunker on Greensmere #9 Premiere. However, the bunker was sufficiently hard packed from all the rain, the ball bounced right up and out, and proceeded to roll to inches on a center green pin placement.

First time I've been happy that bunker was there!

Cruised in at a cool 40 (+4) on the front nine and proceeded to forget how to swing a club for the first 4 holes of the back, failing to even get a sniff at breaking 90.

Oh well...

I played Hautes Plaines this morning and got 2 birdies, played Predator in the afternoon and got an eagle and a birdie. This is why I dont play whites anymore. It's too expensive!!!

Congrats on the eagle. Sounds like you're on a roll without the back issues!
I birdied #6 at Talon yesterday and had another good chance at birdie at #7 to finally complete one of my goals for this season (two birdies in a row). Alas, it was not meant to be
