Finally after a long drought I got a birdie today at 18 on Stonebridge. I was playing horribly on the front, shooting out of the rough and bunkers quite often and +9 for the first 9, but turned it around on the back. Was +4 after 10 and 11, then 12-18 I went -1. All pars and the last a birdie to finish it off. Yay!

Not sure if you're talking to me, but if you are then no, we were playing blues I actually don't find the course that hard, and we're playing again tomorrow so I will try to play better this time and beat that score again. Cap is coming down slowly though, I'm at 16.6 and tomorrow will be replacing a crappy round so should drop even more. I'm hoping to hit 13 by the end of the season.
I still owe you a round of drinks sometime by the way

Chalk up another birdie on the Woodstone Meadows #15 for me. I almost had another on 18, but I was a little soft on the putt
Season total up to 4, but it could be so much more! I'm not sure if I'm feeling the pressure to sink these birdie putts, but I'm liking that there is something on the line.

I agree, the back is definitely easier but front is not overly hard or anything, just bad play on my part. I was surprised that it was sloped at 123, I felt like other courses that have that slope are harder. Maybe Stonebridge just suits me though, not sure. When are you going to be shooting a 73 there?

I've sent my funds to Doctors without Borders today. The month of May was a great birdie month! Let's keep it up in JUne.

I may actually give Luc a run for his money. Got 3 birdies at Manderley today. Missed a straightforward 4th birdie from about 8 feet. Grrrrr. You only get out of something what you put into it

Birdied #13 with a chipin at Chateau Cartier today. Funny thing is, next hole I drove the par 5 in two (rare for me), and ended up par-ing the hole, ughh I wanted 2 birdies in a row at least
I'm up to 6, yay for me and the charity haha.

Mine was at #11 from the same Cartier round today. The wet condition had us leaving a few putts short.
I'll have to go back and try to drive that #11 on drier day and hopefully make a bigger money putt for the kids.

I was beginning to wonder what happened to you guys, Denis, Eldred, Fallys, Hacker, Stevek. Did your putters go cold or you stopped playing golf?
Thanks for the updates! You only get out of something what you put into it

Not to sound wussy.. I had more visits to the Civic ER than the links the past few weeks. All healed up now and ready for the birdie train. Quick calculation show I'm at 0.85 birdie per round or 4.76% of birdie chance per hole. Gonna have to do something about that.

I have weddings and wedding commitments coming over the next month, so my birdies may dry up over the next month...unless I get out for a lot of 9 hole rounds after work.
