Anyone playing down south during March break?
I'm want to go down south the week of March 14th to 20th mostly to play some golf. Could be Florida, South Carolina, not too fussy, as long as it's warm enough to not freeze while playing. Anyone else doing the same?

Myself and the family are making our annual trek down to Myrtle Beach for 2 weeks (the break and the week after). Both my folks and in-laws winter down there so the accomodations are cheap
I will hopefully get a lot of golf in (I usually do). Don't know where as we play it by ear. The weather better improve by then! It has been the coldest and wettest winter down there in probably 60 years.I don't have an ulcer - I am just a carrier.

Tampa/Brooksville at the end of March. Just bought a house there so will be making frequent trips

Nice Chris, I stayed near Brooksville for a few winters and a great course to play is Silverthorn near Spring Hill. Lots of nice courses in the area.

This area has some real beauties. Just too many to name but I'm sure I'll narrow down my favourites. We will also be getting a non-resident membership that allows us to play at a discount @ Sugarmill Woods and Southern Woods. However World Woods (10 mins from our house) remain my fav as it has two courses rated in the top 100 by Golf Digest and Gold Mag, Pine Barrens and Rolling Oaks.

I agree with World Woods as they are both super courses. I only played there when they had discounts on in Feb. as March they upped the price to about $100. Going about a half hour north of there is another fun course in El Diablo which has some beautiful holes. Southern Hills is supposed to be a great course but it is private so I couldn't play there without knowing a member and then it was too expensive for me.

Canadian Houseguests
Hey Chris--congrats When can we expect the room rates to be posted and will you be doing "specials" for seniors ? I'm not too far away right now---perhaps we could run over and check it out for you-----where is the key ?????? Right now 46 degees in Panama City Beach
Does the 2nd hole-n-one come easier ?
