Tempo
Can anybody suggest some tempo drills (mental or physical)? I typically start off a round relaxed and hit the ball well. I then (subconsciously) try to swing faster and hit the ball further as the round progresses. It then falls apart.
Any comments would be appreciated.
Cheers

I find tempo tough to control as well. But this year I have got better as just telling myself to slow down. Seems to have helped as I am down about 5 shots per game.

Ahhhhhh tempo.... how 0.2 second can make a nice round go stupid on you. When that happens to me I try a trick a teaching pro gave me. Take a few practice swings and try to make them as slow as possible. Then address the ball and take a "normal" swing. You will have slowed down without noticing and your "new" swing will feel pretty fast.
That's only an idea; you're free to give it a try. I sure not am a pro and hopefully this will not destroy your game.
