Cheap Graphite Shafts: Regular Vs Stiff
Hi:
I am looking at maybe buying a very cheap set of graphite clubs which have the option of either regular or stiff.
Since I have seen different postings indicating that not all shafts are stiff or regular as indicated and since I currently have regular steel shafts, I was thinking of getting the "Stiff" graphite shaft as the best option.
I wonder if anyone has any advice?
Thanks.

I know what you are thinking and it's wrong. Firsr of all The only way to determine flex is with a shaft deflector or a frequency anylizer. I'll bet you think the "R" flex graphite will be softer thah the steel. Now, all things beeing equal, the only thing that will change is the total weight of the club with graphite, it will be much lighter.
My advice would be to stay away from any type of cheap graphite product. The quality is just not there. You will get what you pay for.
