    Olympic team

    So I dont think if but When Ryan Getzlaf can no longer play for team Canada who would you replace him with. Canada has way to many talented players to go into a short tournament like this to have any ??? and Getzlaf is a huge ? right now.

    my vote is Spezza. Yes he can be a bit of a defensive liability but this team needs skill over grit and Spezza brings that and plus he is the hottest player out of any on the list right now.

    Word is there is no structural damage, and he is day to day. He will probably be going to Vancouver. But, IF he doesn't go, Jeff Carter is probably the #1 guy to replace him. He was the last guy cut, and is a strong two way player, with proven scoring touch.

    Stevie Y was on the fan today and said that yes it was day to day but they think it could still be an injury that could keep him out for a while. Plus they are nervous that he wont be playing another game before the olympics start.

    Sorry I thought that I put Carter in the poll as yes he could be a guy to go.

    it's Carter. He's been notified that he'll be the go to guy if Getzlaf can't play. Good choice.

    I'll take my piece of humble pie, but I'd have gone with Stamkos. Like Don Cherry pointed out on Sat night, over the last 82 games only Ovechkin and Crosby have scored more goals than Stamkos. And he's only getting better.
