Super Bowl Sunday Prediction
Well, it's my Christmas tomorrow. The season really flew by.
Let's see what you think will happen tomorrow. Vote in the poll and if you have some specifics write a post. Bonus points for you if you can guess the MVP too.Donny Vantage NFL Guru, since 1974

I think this superbowl will be epic. I too am sad that the season is over. But the good news is that hockey playoffs are coming soon, and golf season is close.
If i had to put money on the game i'd pick the Colts to win. (33-24). I think Manning will play at a ridiculously fast tempo, basically no huddle all game long, and the Saints defense will be out of gas by the 4th q. I dont think blitzing is going to get to Manning. His offensive line is smart enough to pick up the blitz and Manning gets rid of the ball fast.
On the other side of the ball, I see the Colts defense playing disciplined defense and not giving the Saints cheap TD's. The Saints always seem to get 1 or 2 easy td's because the of blown coverages. Minnesota didn't give up anything cheap in the second half and were able to almost win despite all those turnovers. Colts wont be fooled by reverses, trick plays, etc.

What a day tomorrow will be. Taking the kids to the Sens skills challenge at 1, then dropping thm off and going to a Superbowl party to watch the Colts win and to watch Peyton cement himself as one of the best ever alongside names like Montana, Young, marino and Elway!
Colts win a tight one but the Saints D just gives up too many yards to win.Lots of yoga pants these days, not enough Yoga!

To me this is just like Marino-Montana in what, 1984? Win-win either way, both great great QBs. But I see Manning having the edge just like Montana did.
The MVP will be Manning.Donny Vantage NFL Guru, since 1974

I don't think anyone would be wise to pick against "the Manning."

You don't you need a crystal ball. The Saints all the way baby!!!!!
Some people are like Slinkies... they're really good for nothing, ... but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs...

30-27 Saints - field goal in the last minute

Special teams was the difference. the Saints made all their fg's and that onside kick changed the game.
too bad about manning. this year was his best year as a pro. not from a numbers perspective, but from a leadership point of view. i really wanted him to get the win, but the Saints deserve credit for playing better than the Colts today.
i say manning will win another sb. his wr's were supposed to be a bad group this year and they played very well. next year they'll be even better. watch out.You only get out of something what you put into it
