anyone wash headcovers in washer machine?

the letters on the headcover became really dirty after the round today, so I decide to wash it inside out in washer machine. It looks ok, but the letter is still dirty... anyone wash them? how to clean the letters?

I have never kept a set of clubs long enough for the head covers to get dirty.

Try putting on some stain remover on the letters and lightly brush in and wash on cold again. I was able to get some mud stains off my R7 Limited Head Cover that occured when the cover fell off my bag right into a puddle.
