Travel with my clubs
Hey Guys, I am starting to travel with my clubs and need a travel bag. Should I go for a soft case or a hard case?
Soft ones look a lot easier to deal with but the hard case will protect my clubs from getting a head snapped off.
Any opinions?

I would say it depends on if you want to carry your clubs, or have a cart bag. I have both a hybrid (looks like a regular golf bag, but has a hard cylinder top that you remove and has hard plastic inside to protect the clubs) which is too heavy to carry, but great as a travel bag for carting. I also have a soft sider that I use to cover my carry bag. The softsider is not as durable and protective as the hybrid, but its lighter and allows me to carry my bag when I arrive at my destination. I once had a hard shell bag, and found it to be too heavy, and hard to manage in rental cars etc.
I would recommend a softsider travel bag if you carry, and the hybrid (like one from Cargogolf) if you cart.

I have a hardcase and I would not change it.... it's heavy and bulky but nothing is going to happen to the content (if drop by airline crew). It's airline approved and I use it all the time when travelling by car (roofrack). I secured it using my bicycle cable and a lock.
This is recent pic of our last trip... I had it for about 2-3 years
