    Leclaire hurt again

I was really happy when Ottawa traided for him last year but this is getting awful how much this guy gets hurt! really starting to look bad for this team again.

I'm wondering if it is physical as much as it is mental.....I'm not a big fan of pulling a guy game after game. It would be different if Elliot was coming in and stopping the puck but he's a freaking sieve as well.

Clouston needs to ride Leclaire like a rented mule and live with the results IMO.

Agreed. Leclaire was starting to round into form just before he broke his cheekbone.

I just dont uderstand the way Clouston has dealt with the situation. They need a goalie that could maybe steal a game for them and between the 2 Pascal has a much better chance and doing this for them, but one mistake and he got pulled. The thing that bothers me is he just cant stay healthy enough to get his game back into form! not all his fault but how much bad luck can a guy have!

some times the best thing you can do for a goalie is to pull him. The embarassment of getting pulled after 1 period is a lot less damaging, and long lasting, as getting plastered 7-1. Also, you hope that when you yank your goalie after a mediocre (but not horrible) period, the rest of your players might step up their game, rather than folding like a house of cards.

I wouldn't put to much weight into him being injury when comparing it to his other injuries. Both of these were weird, bad luck type of accidents more than in game injury. The first time he was sitting on th bench and gets clocked and the other was in practice. At that level the guys should know better then buzzing the goalies cage in practice.
