Breakfast
Happy new year, all.
I love going out for breaky and it is getting increasingly hard to find a good, greasy spoon to get a good breakfast at (spending $12 on breakfast is crazy). Just curious - where do you go?

Mello's in the market. $7 with tip. Little far from Kanata though.

Depending which end of Kanata you're in there are 3 breakfast places we hit up on the weekends.
Either Local Heroes off March rd, Gabriels on Stonehaven (off eagleson), or Colonade pizza on Hazeldean. All have excellent FAST service and good prices too.

IKEA has breakfast for $1 on the weekends. Can't beat that.
Woody's on Elgin, before 11am I think is $3.99 for bacon, eggs, toast, home fries. Outstanding.I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

There's a place off Preston that's pretty known when it comes to breakfasts. Don't remember the name but I'll find out.

I recall a similar thread a few years ago...
I think Ikea is the cheapest place around, but perhaps lacking in greasy spoon charms.
I will say Eggspectations and Cora breakfast are over priced and I've had long long waits and generally poor service at both places.Andrew

Is the Chances Are restuarant still opened up at college square? Used to be a great place for breakfast. Coffee was top notch.
