The problem is some people want to bet, only if they are sure to win...
If you think it's hard to meet new people, try picking up the wrong golf ball.

All the Canada Cups...Well seeing how you do not know me, please don't speak for me...They have and always will be the commies, the black bear, the damn CCCP in any Hockey game to me...when Canada steps on the ice to play the CCCP it's still the cold war... O and by the way It's Canada..Sherlock...

Willy...I think Canada will win no doubt in my mind. Does that mean they will win..Nope..Not when 1 goalie can be hot for one game, anything can happen in a SO....It's every teams dream to beat Canada...not so much the CCCP now a days....Good luck with your bets and I hope you lose every one that you take against Canada....keep mixing it up...

Babcock will whip them into shape. They tried to play it too fancy tonight. Passed up way too many opportunities to shoot. They're on NHL ice....they need to use that to their advantage and play Canadian hockey. Strong skating, big forecheck, and go hard to the net. Tonight they got outhit and outhustled by a team they must have outweighed by 500 pounds.

Canada didn't deserve to win!
They made Swiss cheese out of our guys, Canada didn't deserve to win. Team Canada sucks, all attitude and ego. We don't deserve the gold medal. They played scared.
Obviously you're not a golfer.

Give the Swiss credit. They played good. Canada did play very well. Hiller was outstanding. If he did not play like the best player in the tournament, the Swiss have no chance. He made unbelievable saves yesterday. He was without a doubt the MVP of that game.
Don’t forget that USA beat the only Swiss 3-1. The Swiss are not a bad team and they are showing more and more competitiveness year after year.Strive for perfection, but never expect it!

Baxter, I can't tell from your post... who are you rooting for in this tournament?
The opinions expressed in this post are mine and may not necessarily reflect the opinions of others on OG.

Like BigJohnny said, the Slovaks beat them. This was also a shootout game.
Now, I don't mind shootouts for round robin games in a tournament like this, if timing is an issue. But, at least for the playoffs, why not just play sudden death - to the death? The first overtime period could be 10 minutes of 4-on-4, followed by 10 minutes of 3-on-3. Subsequent overtime periods could remain 3-on-3. I doubt many of the games would go beyond the first overtime period, but at least it would resemble real hockey to the end.

And??? Nothing in there mentions anything remotely close in regards to the Swiss played better then Canada and they deserved the win. Every one expects Canada to crush the Swiss something like 10-1 but that was not the case mainly because Hiller was outstanding. Did Canada play an incredible game, no but they did dominate most of the game. I for one expected Canada to crush the Swiss especially with the talent they had on the ice but give credit where credit is due, the Swiss played hard and never quit.
Go Canada Go.Strive for perfection, but never expect it!
