Geox Shoes
Anyone try a pair of Geox shoes? Supposed to be waterproof and breathable. Only place that sells them seems to be GT and some googling seems to suggest they are in the Ecco category of premium golf shoe. Just wondering if anyone has given them a try.

Never tried them myself, but we have been buying our kids Geox shoes since they've been able to walk. They've been fantastic and completely worth the $$. There is a Geox store in the Rideau Centre, not sure if it would have golf shoes.

I got a pair from the Geox Store in the Rideau Centre...they carry the full line.
They are amazingly comfortable and stylish (IMO) and I'm very happy with them and thinking of getting a second pair.

I too have been buying this brand for my kid for several years, and was quite happy with them, so I went to look at the golf shoes at the Geox store at the RideauCenter. I was quite disappointed to hear that it was a 6 month waterproof guarantee. I expressed this concern to the store clerk who said that is the biggest complaint about the golf shoe line. I left without buying them, as I did not find them to be as comfortable or have the longer warranty as the others in that price range.

who told you it was 6 months...I think they may have been mistaken. I was told 2 years waterproof warrenty when i got mine and all the Geox website stuff backs this up, (they have been absolutely bone dry so far and I have played on some WET days with them)
Please see the description below from GT (this is the exact pair I have)

Interesting. Apparently the people working at the Geox store at the Rideau Centre need to learn a bit more about the products they are selling! Sorry for posting misinformation. No wonder the guy said so many people were complaining about the guarantee, he was telling them the wrong numbers! I ended up getting a pair of Foot Joy Syner-G and am very happy with them. All that being said, I still prefer my pair of Adidas, and wear them most often.
