Planning to go with the family (5 of us) to see this in Imax 3D hopefully on Thursday afternoon. Trying to get through to Silver City by phone is insane, but I want to know if there is any way to prepurchase tickets and if not how early do we need to arrive to be sure to all get in, and hopefully able to sit together.
Anyone have any idea?Life dinnae come wit gimmies so yuv got nae chance o' gitt'n any from me.

You can pre-purchase tickets from the Cineplex website for up to two weeks in advance. We did that for Star Trek in IMAX and it's the best way to do it.
Not sure how early you'll need to get there to sit together though. If Star Trek is any example we showed up about 90 minutes before show time to line up.Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

They have preferred seating, we had our seats already assigned to us so we didn't have to get there early. It's like a sporting even now.

Purrrfect. We got the tickets.
Strange. When I googled Silver City the results lead me to the mobile page which is pretty sparse with no online booking.
Thanks for the help. Glad I asked.Life dinnae come wit gimmies so yuv got nae chance o' gitt'n any from me.

How old is the family Dan? There's some violence that would probably cause some nightmares for kids a certain age.

LOL okay then. Also if someone is prone to motion sickness, might want to bring a just in case bag. Someone lost their dinner in the showing before mine last night.

Imax 3D, wouldn't have seen it any other way. Probably a good time to invest in Imax, that technology is going to revolutionize the movie industry.

I rarely go to theatres. Like a lot of people I find the TV at home these days more than sufficient for most movies. This will be my first of the new generation of theatre 3D. The fact that it's on Imax is a really sweet bonus. I am sure this will be worth the few extra $.

Went in thinking that this flick had been overhyped but it definitely delivered the goods! Good story, great message and the 3d was awesome.

Jordan, you're right about the story. Makes you think how crappy human beings treat this planet. Myself included of course.

My 6 year old son & I saw it, he had no problems with it. In fact he loved it, we both did. It was my 1st experience with IMAX 3d (or any of the new 3d tech movies) wow. I resisted the urge to reach out and grab stuff, but there were a few moments in that movie where I flinched.

Really goes to show that the movie studios need to do one thing, Put Up or Shut Up. They whine and complain about piracy sending them to the poor house, while continually putting out big steaming piles of crap. Then you look at lists like Silly put up and see that in the past two years there have been movies that have grossed over $1 Billion worldwide.
I'm still confused as to why it costs the same to see a movie like Avatar or Dark Knight, as it would to see a movie like Paul Blart: Mall Cop or All About Steve...Let's put a Smile on that Face!
