    Driving conditions - Boxing Day

Has anyone ventured out yet? I'm pondering hitting some of the sales, but I'd like to know what I'm getting myself into in so far as the driving is concerned.

Any insight would be appreciated - Thanks!!

My Dad just dropped by, said main roads are salted. Side roads, slippery as heck. My wife kayboshed my ventures for the day. Picking my battles.

I was just out and it's not bad now. Side streets are slushy over snow and ice. Mid and main roads are clear with puddles. No real reason to stay home at this point if you have stuff to do.

I went to FS early this morning and the parking lot was bad but the roads were OK. Take it easy and don't be in a big hurry to go anywhere and you'll be fine. Be prepared to do some major ice scraping on the windshield though...
