    Double Bend Shafts????

Can the lie on putters that have this type of shaft (SS 2.7, Kombi, etc..) be changed? Or do they have to stay as is from the factory due to the lack of hosel/neck?

These are the easiest to change, you just bend the shaft.

I thought to bend shafts, like exhaust piping, you need a mandrel bending maching. If not, the shaft will collapse once you start bending it.

Just put the head under your foot and bend the shaft to the desired lie...

The double bends are supposed to be face balanced, so bending them might screw up the intended mechanics of the putter...having said that, a 40 yard helicopter down the 14th fairway would do the trick.

I may have bent a putter a couple of degrees by employing said technique...
