The Sun is notorious for being useless. It is tabloid journalism at its lowest because it fabrcates and exagirates yet takes itself seriously. It has been sued countless times. I am ashamed to say it is also the UKs most widely read paper.

Hilarious. This article claims he has changed his phone number and is living like a recluse, yet they know what he's eating, and what he's watching on TV.

What isn't hilarious is what he's going through. I've gotten to the point of actually feeling sorry for him, and I don't even really like the guy.

He'll get through this because he has a strong mind. What will eat at him emotionally will be losing his kids. Not any money or title will replace the time lost with them. He admired and respected his father and I'm sure he wants to emulate him, but losing his family and wife will destroy any notion of being a family man like his dad.

His dad left his first family for Tiger's mom. Earl's kids from his first marriage were 13, 11 and 7 when he got divorced. When Earl Woods passed away, he had been living separately from Tida Woods for several years, though he claimed they were not 'separated'.

Obviously Tiger and his dad were close, and Tiger and his mom are close, but perhaps we read too much into that and assume Tiger had a stable family upbringing when it seems it was actually pretty dysfunctional. What's eating him emotionally is probably the fact that he is repeating his father's mistakes, not that he's not emulating him.

Anyway, it's all speculation, who knows what he's doing and how he's feeling. My point is we are putting a lot of false expectations on him, basing them on some image we have of his family life that appears to have a whole lot of false assumptions.

I am not sure what is worse, the poor judgement of Tiger, or the bashing craze that is going on against him currently. In the end Tiger is a great golfer, who we have discovered very recently has his share of faults, like the rest of us.
