    NFL – Chris Henry of the Bengals – RIP

    Bengal's WR Chris Henry is in critical condition. He was in Charlotte and got in a dispute with his girlfriend. She drove away from the house in a truck. Henry ran after the truck and jumped in the back before she got up too speed. Somehow he was ejected from the bed of the truck, police say at a speed of over 55mph. Police found him in the middle of the road. Police also said that it doesn't look like he is going to survive. Crazy stuff.

    According to CBS, he has died of his injuries.

    A few minutes ago, CNN reported that he had not died. However, if he is in serious enough condition to cause reporters to think he has died, then things are not likely good for him. That is unfortunate.

    Heartbroken for the 3 children. At least, I hope, they'll have enough money to grow up in a nice neighbourhood and for a great education.

    From what the news reports are saying Chris was on the right track to turning his life around after the Bengals gave him a second chance. Too bad this had to happen just as he was becoming a grown up. He might have been a great dad, very sad for the kids. RIP.

    Indeed sounds like he was finally "getting it" and turning things around. However it is sad that his temper extracted the ultimate price.
