    Woulda been funny had he said that family wasn't important, that his marriage was just part of his corporate image, as were the kids, and that he's got a gal in every port on speed dial.

    Not defending Tiger here, but look at it this way...

    Phil Mickelson definitely acts, talks, walks like a "fine upstanding citizen"...and yet he is hammered for being a phony. He hasn't been caught cheating on his wife, crashed into a fire hydrant, or accused of doing HGH.

    I don't think there's a chance of a guy like these two having a chance...it's a no-win situation. So why not get the positive perception out there?
