Why do you think Tiger is taking an "indefinite break"?
What do you think is his real motivation? Just trying to judge people's current opinions on Tiger...

All of the above? I think most people have had enough of hearing about Tiger and his lady friends at this point. Public sentiment is probably about to turn around for him and the break will help him on all fronts.

I would hope it's to try to work things out with his family. In the end I think that it's a combination of things that contributed to him taking time off. The media has gone way too far...which they often do. BUT, he made some terrible life choices that have caught up to him. The bigger they are, the harder they fall. I love watching Tiger as much as anyone but taking some time off is the right thing to do on many levels IMO. I hope things work out for him for the sake of his wife and kids. Just a sad situation.

To get out of the public eye while he gets serious psychological help....
Also will give him time to clear his system for the inevitable closer scrutiny of his drug testing. The opinions expressed in this post are mine and may not necessarily reflect the opinions of others on OG.

I voted other just because I think it's all of the above. I doubt he's 100% doing it for the marriage, I'd say 70% marriage/30% image.

Regardless, it's the right choice. But I seriously can't believe she'd stay with him. Pays 3-1 in Vegas that she'll divorce him within 365 days. Yes, that's sad but that's our world people.

Donny, a gambler like you ... this is a gimmee (like the Browns on Thursday).
She will still be with him in 365 days.If you think it's hard to meet new people, try picking up the wrong golf ball.

I think those vegas odds are easy money. Given the huge amount of money involved, pre-nups, a legal team that would make Montgomery Burns jealous, etc, there is no way they will be offically divorced in 365 days.

Worse than athletes cheating on their wives are politicians. I am 10x more shocked when political figures get caught lying about their values. So in the news today is Mark Staford, after 6 months of trying to fix the damage he caused his wife, family, state and party, his wife says the damage cannot be fixed and they're getting a divorce. Tiger might end up the same way.

Donny...where do you get your vegas odds? I'm curious about the odds on a few Tiger related bets.
