Wolf Creek in Mesquite Nevada
**added more pics, including plaque and book! Best golf experience ever so far, we played from the whites the first round and the blues the second round. I hit a lot of fairways for some reason, darn Callaway driver worked well for me. brother in law and myself drove the green on 13 (thx tiger woods 2009). I was excited to par the signature hole (17) and the first par 3.... extreme elevations, amazing scenery. Here are some pics for anyone interested! I took a ton of pics and we even bought the plaque they make for you on the first tee! First round was warm with NO wind, beautiful day... second round was slower and the wind picked up towards the end....Must play course IMO

Great Pics.
I played it a few years back... nothing like it. It feels like you are playing golf on the Moon. I would recommend a daytrip if you are ever in Vegas.
Some of the tee boxes are so elevated, and tough to get to, that they have little doors built into the side of the tees, where they store lawnmowers, so they don't have to drag them up there each morning. Amazing.

funny thing is... after playing it on tiger 100 times... once I got there, I knew what to do.... except I could not drive half the greens... and I did not shoot 54, lol... but, I still new the layout... to see it was amazing. I cannot wait to play it again, someday.

Finally getting a chance to play Wolf Creek April 13th. We warm up at the Arnold Palmer course the day before. Stay and play package at the Eureka Hotel. This is all part of a Ski Utah/Golf Nevada vacation. I think I'll stick to the blue/green runs so I don't risk my knees before golf season begins!
Have to hook up my wii in my still unfinished living room to start practising Wolf Creek.

You'll have a great time. It's one of my favorite golf experiences.
On #2, regardless of what tees you are playing, climb up to the back tees. Have fun, nice to be talking about golf in mid-Feb.

Very nice photos. Fine weather and the golf course layout is challenging. Spectacular canyons on the background.

Can you play Wolf Creek if you are not staying at the local hotel?

We paid at the Golf Club. As I recall, there was a discount from the hotel, not a requirement. We prebooked online to make sure about a tee-time.
If you're going, I'm jealous! I play that course on wii over and over just for the memories. We played twice, the second time was very windy and kind of ruined the game but not the scenery. (it took a well hit 5 iron to make it 100 yds to short of the last green.)

I am booked for April 10th, I cannot wait. I have a feeling the $115 green fee will pale in comparison with the money my GF will spend at the Casino there.
