pured shafts
Just wondering if anybody is using pured shafts in their irons or woods and if you noticed any difference in the consistency of your ball flight as far as direction and trajectory. I ordered 3 dynalite shafts and I'm going to get them pured just to see what it's all about.

For steel shafts I would not bother.
For kicks I had a set of Rifles pured a few years ago and when they do it you get a report for each shaft. The variation around the circumference of the shaft as shown in the plot was very, very small. I don't remember the exact number but at the time I thought to myself "That was a waste of money".
For graphite shafts if you are a believer in FLO, etc. then it can be more of a difference. Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!
