Winter golf schools in warmer places
Hi folks,
I'm thinking of going south for a week or so around Xmas time and get some golfing in, and one of the ideas was to go to a golf school instead of just playing golf. I'm looking for something that would have some instruction along with some actual golf played.
I've stumbled upon birdgolf.com and it looks pretty interesting, except that I'd most likely be on my own and their singles program is a bit too instruction-intensive. Has anyone tried it before, or perhaps heard anything about it?
Are there any other schools like that? Anyone tried them?
Any thoughts appreciated, as I've never done anything like that before.

The above was a very nice place to stay and had two championship courses as well as a David Leadbetter School. They also have a lit par three course.
I went there late last fall for a Engineering 'Course' and played both their courses during the week.

Hmm... That looks like a good deal, although I'm not a big fan of Ledbetter. Still, I'd definitely need to consider it as an option. Thanks for the pointer.
