Real Scotty?
Can anyody tell me if this is a real Scotty? I saw this add on the internet but it looks like the same putter that was previously sold on this forum.

Can you link the add? I can't seem to get the attachments big enough to look at.

Its real...i sold it to the guy who is selling it now. I orginally purchase it from kilmidyke who is a big Scotty + other high end putter collector. You can PM him and he has all the history on this putter.
The reason i sold it...was a tad light for my liking...the head is 332g which is standard for that model.Last edited by bobblehead; 10-05-2009 at 11:11 AM. Reason: typo

The head weight on that putter would be 330g.

Just looks fishy to me - being sold 3 times in the last 2 months...

Sorry...I meant to say 332g. The guy i purchase it from had the putter head off and on a scale which showed this weight.
Some additional pics of the putter(one with the head off):

If you are not totally comfortable then you should pass on it.Last edited by bobblehead; 10-05-2009 at 11:25 AM.

Black paint fill may have thrown you off.

Scotty
I am selling a Scotty very similiar to the one you guys are talking about.
I bought the putter used from Nevada Bobs (carling and Kirkwood) about 6-7 years and has never left my ownership then, used it for a couple years then just sat in my basement. The red grip is quite used.
Also, Scotty Camerons that old would be hard to find a fake one. Usually the fake ones I hear are the more recent ones that are easier to sell.Bite, Bite!

I see you fixed the typo 332 makes a lot more sense than 342..

Yup...real deal, and an awesome flatstick. Has slightly different look because of the black paint and polished sole. If you don't like it maybe I'd take it off your hands and bring her back home!
Liam.
