    R9 Tip Size

anyone know if the tip size is different between the R9 and R9 TP? They both use the sleeve but I am wondering if they use the same sleeve or a different one (.350 vs .335).

    thanks!

I believe that the internal diameter of the sleeve is different (.335 vs .350) but the ouotside diameter is the same. I might be wrong though so could anybody confirm?

Steph, I belive you are right after some reading on the web. in fact I think the only difference between the TP and non TP is the shaft (and sleeve), in other words the heads are the same.

Only difference is the upgraded shaft.... I just got a Stiff Fubuki from ebay for my R9 works great.... lol

FYI.... All R9 and R9 460 shafts will fit......

The adapter that actually installs into the head is like .400, the portion that has the shaft installed into the adapter can be either .335 or .350 so when you go on ebay you can see there is a choice and depending on what shaft you have you buy accordingly. Ex: Diamana Blueboard is .335, so buy a .335 tip.
