Restoring Old Hickory Clubs
Does anybody know of someone that restores older hickory shafted golf clubs... refinish iron/wood heads, recondition leather wrap grips. Mainly for display. Not for playing.
I've seen a few in Scotland but don't want to deal with the distance invovled. Like to find someone in Ottawa, Toronto or somewhere in between.
Thanks for any tips!
Victor

Be careful who does it, you may have a nice looking club with a reduced antique value. The best is to clean it up the best you can keeping everything original.
