    Restoring Old Hickory Clubs

Does anybody know of someone that restores older hickory shafted golf clubs... refinish iron/wood heads, recondition leather wrap grips. Mainly for display. Not for playing.

I've seen a few in Scotland but don't want to deal with the distance invovled. Like to find someone in Ottawa, Toronto or somewhere in between.

    Thanks for any tips!

Be careful who does it, you may have a nice looking club with a reduced antique value. The best is to clean it up the best you can keeping everything original.

I've got some old clubs in the basement that I've thought about resurecting but haven't yet done anything about it.... would be interested to know how you make out if you decide to go ahead....
